Physical Education

PE teaches students the knowledge, skills and confidence to participate in health enhancing physical activity throughout their lives. In PE, the students learn loco-motor skills (running, jumping, hopping, skipping) and manipulative skills (throwing, catching, kicking, striking). We also focus on the four components of physical fitness (flexibility, cardio-respiratory endurance, muscle strength, and muscle endurance).

PE Basics

Because the students have PE every day, it is important that they wear tennis shoes and clothes that enable them to run, jump and exercise. Sports drinks are not allowed at PE but students are more than welcome to bring a water bottle. Please make sure their name is on their water bottle. Students must bring a note from a parent, guardian, or doctor if they are unable to participate in PE.

The time is always right to do what is right.
