Good afternoon Wildcat Families,

Week of November 30th

We hope each of you had a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday break.

A message from PTA:

Wonderland Gift Shoppes is back! PTA will miss seeing you all come and shop at school but don’t worry, this year it is Virtual! You can shop from your home for the gifts you love! All gifts will be sent to the school for pick-up when the online shopping ends! The gift shop is open from November 16th thru December 4th. Start shopping now at https://wonderlandgiftshoppes.store/

The 2020-2021 Waterford Elementary Yearbook Committee is ready to start receiving orders! Don't miss this opportunity to have a printed memory - in full color, with a long lasting hard cover.  You can complete your online order at ybpay.lifetouch.com and use Code: 6660821.  Please note that this is the only way you can order a Waterford Yearbook this year, we are not accepting cash or personal checks - online payments only.

Spelling Bee registration: We are encouraging all parents to register their students for the spelling bee.  We would love to see all of our student’s participate. Participation in the spelling bee helps improve students spelling, increase vocabularies, learn concepts and develop correct English usage that will help them all their lives.  In place of our traditional spelling bee program, we will hold one level of competition through online spelling test platform. The first step to spelling bee participation is for you to register for the Scripps National Spelling Bee's online testing platform by visiting https://online-test.spellingbee.com.

Thank you to all of our Teach-In volunteers!  Teach-In was a success this year because of YOU!

Wildcat Writing Wednesday Prompt: This week’s topic for our Wildcat Writing Wednesday was, Should there be school in the summer?  Why or why not?… Have you asked your Wildcat, what he/she wrote about yet?
