A message from PTA:

Hi Wildcat families,

We just wanted to send a special thank you to all of our parent volunteers who have helped this year. We couldn't do it without you. We hope you have a great Summer break, and be sure to follow our Facebook page, Waterford Elem PTA for updates as we plan for next year!

Weekly Covid Update:

This past week, a total of 2 individuals associated with our school reported a laboratory positive COVID-19 test result. Individuals in proximity were notified as soon as we were made aware and impacted areas on campus were disinfected. The Florida Department of Health in Orange County continues to investigate, and may provide close contact letters when there are three or more lab-confirmed linked cases. If you have any questions about contact tracing, you may contact FDOH at 407-723-5004. Anyone who experiences symptoms of COVID should stay home and follow pandemic precautions. Our Dashboard continues to update with lab-confirmed cases nightly however sometimes the data lags behind this messaging. Thank you for helping to keep our community safe.

End of Year Reminders:

Our last day of school is this Wednesday, May 25.  There will be no backpacks permitted on campus all of next week.  If you would like to receive your child’s final report card in the mail, please send in a self-addressed stamped envelope to your child’s teacher.  Supply list for next school year will go home with report cards.  We will have the report card distribution date listed on our website and our digital marquee, which will be mid June.  Once report cards have been printed, parents may come to the school Monday- Thursday between 7:30-4:30 pm to pick it up, along with the supply list.  Stay tuned to our website, social media pages and our digital marquee for 22-23 school year information.  Our next call out will be in August.

We want to wish all of our Wildcat students, families, and staff an amazing, fun and safe summer!

Thank you for a successful 21-22 school year!

Thank you for your support and partnership.

Have a wonderful day,

Danielle Arbelaez-Willis
