Good afternoon Wildcat Families,

Week of November 15th:

 

Teach-In: 

Teach-In 2021 will be held on Wednesday, November 17. Thank you to all of our volunteer who will be participating.

 

Wildcat Writing Wednesday:

I have always wanted to have a pet....(finish the story)Have you asked your Wildcat, what he/she wrote about yet?

 

Science Fair Update:

          Congratulations to all our 5th graders who completed their science fair projects. Judging will take place afterschool on Monday, November 15th.  On Tuesday, November 16th our 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners will be announced and posted on social media.  Projects will remain at school so  that we can display them in the media center for all of our Wildcats to see!

 

iReady Update:

Our students are working hard to reach their 45 minutes on both iReady Reading and iReady Math.

Last week, our grade level winner for Reading was 2nd grade!  Special shout out to the following classes for awesome pass rates: Ms. Barnett, Ms. Christenson, Ms. Davey, Ms. Donohue, Ms. Mack, Ms. Moody, and Ms. Murphy!

Monday: Thankful for Friendship - find a friend and dress as twins

Tuesday: Thankful for Family - dress to show your family's culture

Wednesday: Thankful for being a Wildcat - school spirit shirt

Thursday: Thankful for our individuality - wear tie-dye because no two are alike. 

Friday: Thankful for Education - wear your favorite college gear.

Thanksgiving Holiday Break, November 22-26, no school.  

School will resume Monday, November 29th.  Our next Sunday call-out will be scheduled for Sunday, November 28th. 

On behalf of Waterford Elementary Faculty and Staff, we want to wish ALL of our Wildcat families and our community a Happy Thanksgiving.  We are THANKFUL for each and every one of you.
